How to pay…
You must pay a 20% non-refundable deposit of the total invoice to secure a booking. The total amount is due 21 days before your hire period commences. We accept cheques made payable to ‘Sorrel & Steve’ or bank transfer to our business account. If you do not pay your balance in full before the hire period and do not cancel you will not receive your items but will still be liable for the full amount due. We do not accept cash on collection/delivery. We may email you to remind you when your full payment is due.
Minimum order value for deliver option 1 is £50
Minimum order value for deliver option 2 is £100

 How long?
Items will be collected or delivered by 12 noon on the Friday and returned or collected by 12 noon on the Monday. If other arrangements or alternative days are required this will be discussed when the order is placed.

Getting it to you & back…
We deliver from BN14 9AU
1.     Within 10 mile radius is free of charge
2.     Between 10 & 30 miles for a charge of £15 per journey + 0.45 per mile
3.    Over 30 miles would be subject to independent arrangement

 Self-collection
If you are able and have transport adequate to collect and return your own items then this can be done. However, times and arrangements for collection and return will be arranged and must be adhered to.

 Be careful!
All equipment must be used in a safe manner, taking into account any instructions supplied with the equipment. No responsibility is accepted by Sorrel & Steve for injury or damage to any party caused by improper use of equipment.

 Keep it clean…
Crockery items must be returned clean, however, if you would like to leave the washing up to us then a 12.5% surcharge will be added at point of booking

It belongs to us…
All goods and packaging remain the property of Sorrel & Steve. Please retain all packaging, boxes and protective wrapping that come with the prop and ensure that they are repackaged safely for their return.

Don’t lend it…
You may not sub hire items. The person booking the items must be the person or a representative of the person who intends to use them.

Say cheese!
We may take photos at the event prior to or during setting up. This is purely for our own in-house marketing use and shall not be passed on to third parties. Should you be unhappy with this then please voice with us prior to the event.

Oops we broke it…
The hirer(s) is responsible for any loss or damage to hired goods and packaging from the time of delivery until the time of collection or return to Sorrel & Steve. Losses and damage are charged to the full price of replacement, a copy of this can be made available. Debit or credit card details must be made available at the time of booking which will be held until the props are returned and would only be used if any breakages or loss charges were incurred.

Just in case…
Hirer(s) are advised to arrange insurance in regard to theft, damage and public liability whilst goods and equipment are on hire if they want to avoid the replacement cost above.

It’s off…
If you cancel more than 21 days before your hire period you will not have to pay the remaining 80% balance but will not receive your 20% deposit back. If you cancel less than 21 days before but more than 7 days you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel 7 days or less prior to your hire period you will receive no refund. To cancel a hire you must inform us in writing.
We reserve the right to cancel agreed prop hire in the instance of unforeseen circumstances. In this case a full refund of monies paid will be issued.
